This 18.25” sword knot is constructed of black bridle leather and remains in excellent condition. The leather is dry but remains supple and only shows very light cracking on the outer finish. Stitching on the remaining leather keeper is very strong and all fringe is fully intact. The inner rough side of the leather shows no signs of use or attachment to a sword.
Overall, a superb piece that is as close to new as a cavalry collector can get. Would be ideal for display or pairing with an original sword. [cm][ph:c/L]
