Here is an original leather shoulder sling for a Krag–Jørgensen rifle. Smooth brown leather in good condition. Measures approximately 63” long. Complete with two-prong brass hook on one end, brass “button” on opposite end, and two floating loops. Leather exhibits minor surface crazing. No maker’s marks. Leather is supple and will be perfect for any Krag rifle.
The Krag–Jørgensen was a repeating bolt-action rifle designed by the Norwegians Ole Herman Johannes Krag and Erik Jørgensen in the late 19th century. It was adopted as a standard arm by Norway, Denmark, and the United States. [jet][ph:L]
