This is a non-commissioned officer’s sword belt in good condition. Belt is constructed of heavy buff leather. Belt leather measures approximately 34” long overall x 1 ¾” wide. Leather has been treated and remains supple. One sliding belt loop remains on belt.

Pattern 1851 buckle is nicely detailed on front with one-piece applied German silver wreath. A 1/2” wide tongue is on the back. Matching benchmark numbers (270) are found on buckle and keeper.

Leather sword hangers remain well attached to belt; one short and one very long.  No “Sam Brown” shoulder strap.

Overall, a very good example of an NCO sword belt that would look good on a uniform display.   [jet][ph:L]
