This is a worn belt with a US infantry belt buckle and brass “keeper”. The buff leather belt measures about 39” long by 2” wide. Leather is slightly stiff but pliable. Outer surface remains generally brown in color while the inner, lighter surface, shows significant staining and use. The sheet brass “keeper” is still mounted on the far end.

The Pattern 1839 “US” belt buckle is in fine condition with just some small dings on the face and a small flat spot on the right edge. Brass has a bright tone. Full lead in back with numerous light scratches and “arrow” style hooks.

This is an original, used, infantry belt.  [jet][ph:L]
