The leather on this box is in good condition. The outer flap has a tooled line around the edge and a silver number “2” attached at center. The top of the flap shows some crazing from opening and closing while the face of the flap shows some scuffing. The latch tap shows some surface finish loss but it is solid.
The interior of the box is in nice condition showing only light wear. The interior has the tin liner which is very rare to find. The finial is present at bottom.
Both belt loops are present on the reverse but they are heavily worn. [ad] [ph:L]
