Pattern 1864 US cartridge box in wonderful condition. The outer flap is boldly embossed “US”. The latch-tab is stitched and riveted and remains whole and unbroken. The inner flap has maker’s stamp “H.G. HARDRICH / PHILADA” and retains both ears. The implement pouch is complete and good in every way. Both cartridge tins remain in place. The bottom of the box features the typical brass finial and both roller buckles. All stitching remains strong. Belt loops attached to the back. Would be hard to upgrade from this specimen.
