This is a Civil War-era percussion cap pouch. The shape of the leather shows actual field use overall.

This pattern has the closing tab as a continuation of the outer flap. This latch tab is unbroken. No markings of any sort. There is no interior flap, fleece, or nipple pick. Bottom has brass finial.

Both narrow belt loops remain in place on back and are stitched and riveted in place. The left belt loop is broken at the rivet. All stitching remains strong and intact.
