Original pistol cartridge box with clean leather and tight seams to hold Army size (.44 cal.) cartridge packs. Likely unissued.
Outer flap remains supple. Light crazing overall. Unmarked. Latch tab is complete and held in place with stitching and a rivet. It is complete and unbroken.
The interior of the box is very good. The back has both belt loops which are stitched and riveted. Brass finial is present on bottom. Nice condition. From the Texas Civil War Museum. [jet] [ph:L]
