Original pistol cartridge box to hold Navy size (.36 cal.) cartridge packs.
Outer flap remains supple but has heavy surface crazing overall. No maker’s stamping visible. Latch tab was originally held in place with stitching and a rivet, but broke and has been re-sewn in place.
The interior of the box is good. The back has both belt loops which are stitched and riveted. Brass finial is present on bottom. Displayable condition. From the Texas Civil War Museum collection. [jet][ph:L]
