Leather box to hold packs of revolver cartridges. Outer flap is approximately 5.5” x 5.5” overall. Black leather box, with worn “USN” embossed on outer flap. Inner flap marked, “NAVY YARD / PHIL’A / 1863” with stars on either side.
Leather exhibits fine crazing and minor scuffing along edges. Latch tab present and unbroken. Stitching uniformly excellent. Inner tin is missing. Attached cap pouch has no wool. Large belt flap sewn to back; brass finial on bottom. Overall good condition. [jet][ph:L]
