Leather scabbard in near perfect, unissued condition. The black leather body shows next to no wear and no weak spots. Excellent finish and all stitching remains unbroken. Brass tip solidly attached and no dents. Scabbard frog is bridle leather and likewise exhibits no wear. A Newark, NJ maker’s stamp and an oval sub-inspector’s stamp are both present on frog and are as visible as can be expected being on buff leather. Eight rivets total.
