Metal scabbard has much of its original finish with scattered amounts of oxidation and several spots of surface rust.

Leather yoke is excellent and shows only some light surface wear. Stitching is tight. Attached is a large brass hook anchored to the leather yoke by a "U.S." rosette. Brass has a nice light patina.

Brass hook will swivel with some effort.    [ad] [ph:L]
