An original scabbard for the Remington Zouave saber bayonet. These are tough to find on the loose and there are a lot of bayonets out there in need of one. This is a good, solid example with a good seam, decent color and finish showing some natural crackling from age, and some rubs, but not a lot of flaking, and with the throat and tip in place and showing medium age toning. Ex-Texas Civil War Museum collection. [sr][ph:L]
