Large two-section spy glass made of brass with a nice leather exterior.
When extended the glass meas. approx. 35.50 inches long. The second extension is engraved just below the eye piece with “J. F. WILLIAMS, BRISTOL.”
When closed the glass meas. 20.00 inches in length.
Eyepiece and lens have working sliding shutters. Optics are clear.
The exterior of the body has a leather cover that is in very nice condition. Brass mounts for the lens and eyepiece show light wear and a light patina. [AD] [PH:L]
