1880s Floral bridal head piece and veil. Head piece made of wired ivory paper flowers, green paper leaves, and ivory wax buds mounted on a wire base covered in veiling. Two long wired streamers of flowers, buds, and leaves are suspended from either side of the headpiece. A veil of fine silk net is attached to the base of the head piece.
Headpiece is 6" wide at the base, 2" high at the center. Streamers 18" long. Veil 36" wide, 73" long. Condition fair-good; some staining where veil is attached to the base, several pulled areas in veil from improper storage that could be restored. [cs][ph:L]
