Commonly soldiers would look for an activity to help past the time when in camp, and to ultimately boost morale.  Pictured here are pair of bone dice for that exact purpose from the Civil War era. Bone is slightly yellowish in color showing its age. Dice are in great condition.  A nice item to display with a Civil War soldier’s personal effect.  [mk] [ph:L]
