Vintage iron scale is still functional. Reverse is brass with markings that read, “CHATTILLION’S IMPROVED SPRING BALANCE / NEW YORK/ PATD. JAN 6^TH 1891 + 26^TH 1892” as well as a numbered scale from 0 – 50. Total length, including ring and hook, measures 12 ½”.    [sl]  [ph:L]
