Body of snuff box is an oval piece of horn. Top and bottom are made of pieces of horn tacked onto wood to form the lid and the base. Lid has a swiveling bone lever which turns to reveal an open hole to dispense snuff.
Box measures 3” wide by just over 1 ¼” high. Very good condition with no cracks, just light surface scratches. [sl]
