Offered here is a clean copy of the definitive study of images of the infamous George Armstrong Custer, who was one of the most photographed men of his time. This book includes 161 photographs in chronological order, documenting Custer’s life and exploits from his West Point days through his death in 1876.
This book is in near excellent condition. The pages are clean, and no tears or dog-eared pages are present. The binding is solid, and the dust jacket is present as well although the top corners are pushed a bit, but this is very minor.
The first edition of this book was printed in 1985 with 144 photos of Custer. This printing, the 1990 edition, includes seventeen more photographs. The book measures 12 inches by 9.25 inches and is 154 pages long including the photographic study and a chronology of Custer’s life. [cla] [ph:L]
