This impressive view is taken from a hillside overlooking the entire tower complex. Besides the four spires of the Tower itself one can also see the wall and keeps surrounding it and the ancillary buildings within the enclosure.
The image is clear with excellent contrast.
Dating the image is a little difficult as no people or conveyances are visible however a modern pencil notation on the reverse dates it to about 1890.
The modern wood frame that houses the image is tired and needs replaced.
