Albumen photo is approximately 7.5” x 5.75” mounted in a gilted wood frame. That frame is again mounted in a second frame of dark wood which gives a bit of depth to the piece. The overall measurement being approximately 10.75” x 8.75” x 2”. The glass over the image appears old and original as there are several small air bubbles throughout the glass.

The image is clear with very good contrast. The photo depicts a 4-4-0 steam engine with tender pushing a flat car. The engine features a large funnel. There are three men in the cab and four standing on the flat car. There are no apparent markings visible to indicate the railroad. The engine sits upon a trestle bridge over a small ravine.
