This post-Civil War albumen features a full standing view General Ulysses S. Grant in uniform, standing at a desk. Measuring 6.5" x 8.75", it was published in both Boston & Washington, D.C. and entered into Congress by T. R. Burnham on June 5, 1868.
The photograph shows toning, adhesive stains, uneven edges, soiling, and minor flaws but no other issues to note.
The reverse shows toning and staining as well as foxing. A pencil notation reads: 6 ¾ x 8 ¾.” [cla] [ph:L]
