CDV album has brown leatherette cover heavily embossed with geometric decorations on both covers and spine. The spine has a strong gold stamping that reads “ALBUM.” Cover is in good condition with light wear on the spine and corners. Binding is very tight.
Pages are gold edged and impressed with a floral decoration. The front and back covers are matted with floral paper. Interior has title page the reads “INDEX OF PORTRAITS.” Album measures
6 ¼” x 2 ½” and has 25 pages.
The album closes securely with two decorative gold colored metal clasps which are still firmly attached.
This is a fine album for displaying a collection of Victorian images or for those who collect photography pieces from the period. [mk] [ph:L]
