This photograph album measures 6.25” tall x 5” wide x 2” thick. Thin leatherette bound with impressed ruling on covers and spine to appear as a book. There were two brass locking clasps with belt buckle designs. One of the closing clasps is missing. Cover surfaces show light wear especially on corners and edges. The spine remains strong and unbroken.
The inside cover sheet reads “PHOTOGRAPHS” in artistic script and “Boston / Roberts Brothers.” There are 25 double-sided pages that are cut to house a single image on each side. The album is empty. Pages are mostly clean with no tears to the cut-outs; some faint names that someone attempted to erase when photos were removed.
A very solid album any collector could fill with their loose images. [jet] [ph:L]
