Antique tooled leather photo album for CDV and Tintype pictures. A single flat, brass clasp holds the album closed. There are 24 thick double-sided, gilt-edged photo pages capable of holding 48 photos. There are many images included with this album. Some CDVs, two CDV lithographs of Generals (Sherman & Fremont), and many tintypes.
It measures 4.25” x 5.5” and is about 2.25” thick.
The album shows wear. Pages have some foxing and a few pages have split from inserting and removing photos. In the center the pages are loose from the spine, but are not falling out.
The last page includes a partial list of names of those in the included images.
All in all, this is a good album filled with interesting photos. [jet][ph:L]
