This album is not only in good condition, but dated by year of manufacture. Commercially available as “The Photographic Album / NEW YORK / D. APPLETON & Co. 443 & 445 Broadway”, this album holds 1 gem sized tintype, 3 CDV’s, and 2 tintypes. All photos are civilian, all portraits save for one standing view of a child and one standing view of the younger members of a family. Several of the images have Baltimore backmarks.
The embossed leather cover show expected but minor wear, and the gold accented “Album” label on the spine is complete. Gold accented page edges are in nice condition and decorative brass clasp remains functional. Dimensions are 3.6” x 5”. [cm][ph:L]
