Image shows the stone gatehouse at the entrance to the Antietam National Cemetery and the wrought iron gate running along its boundary. The main gate is visible.

Along the bottom of the view in white is “LODGE HOUSE.”

Contrast and clarity are very good. Image is mounted on heavy gray stock that exhibits two minor chips.

Reverse has a faint pencil inscription that reads “ENTRANCE TO CEMETERY.”  [ad] [ph:L]
