This interesting image features a Native American male standing near a barbed wire fence.  He is wearing a braided headdress with what may be a war bonnet hanging beneath the folded, fringed coat tucked under his arm. Slung over his body is a long, bagged case. The image is in good condition with sharp edges and a nearly inconspicuous spot of layer loss on the right center edge. A brown mounting card holds the image and embossed at the bottom edge is the stylized text “Wishing You The Compliments of the Season.”  The left corners are slightly chipped and there is minor edge rolling of the outer paper layer along the left and right edges. The reverse is also brown, but blank, save for an old, penciled notation reading “$350”. Slight outer layer rolling is noted along each edge along with miniscule, scattered spot loss (pinpoint sized). Overall measurements are 4.25” x 6.5”.

A genuine snapshot of the old American West.   [cm][ph:L]
