This antique cabinet card photograph features two “lawmen” with badges, standing in front of a backdrop in full regalia. The younger man to the right rest his hand on an authoritative long-barreled sidearm while the other conceals his left hand behind his back.
The photo is mounted to a green card. An off-white center section forms a primary border, while the green card forms a second. The photo exhibits light foxing but is in otherwise good condition with sharp edges. The card itself shows corner wear and scattered, minor edge rolling. The front is entirely blank with no text. The reverse is a charcoal color and blank, with scattered loss of the outer green layer of paper, primarily along the left side and right edge.
Overall measurements are 5” x 6.95”.
An interesting snapshot of a bygone era that would display very nicely. [cm][ph:L]
