Image is of the Coat of Arms of the Lee family. It consists a shield divided into four parts. The lower left and upper right depict the same flower within a scrolled frame while the upper left and lower right have a horizontal brick wall flanked by four bricks above and seven below. At top of the shield is a squirrel eating a nut from a small tree. At bottom center is “LEE ARMS” over “COTTON.”

Reverse has an imprint of the fallen tyrant as seen on the Virginia state seal button. This is in the middle of the photographer’s name and address which reads “THE ‘LEE’ PHOTOGRAPHIC GALLERY… RICHMOND MUSICAL EXCHANGE.”  [ad] [ph:L]
