CDV is a bust view of General Lee in a dark civilian suit. He is posed in a slight left profile.
Clarity is good but the contrast is light around the top of the general’s head. Paper and mount have light surface dirt.
Reverse has photographer’s imprint for C. R. REES & CO… RICHMOND, VA. There is also some collector information in pencil.
