Harris lived in Boston and was a 28 year-old cook when he enlisted on 12/31/1863 as a Private in the 11th Mass. Light Artillery. He was Killed on 6/21/1864 at Petersburg, VA. Buried at Common Cemetery, Union, Maine. [jet] [ph:L]
