Full-standing studio view wearing military vest, short jacket, trousers, and boots. Jacket trim has been tinted red. Image is slightly faded. No photographer's backmark. Pencil notes on back.
Tutt enlisted on January 16, 1863 as a Private in the 5th Company of the Washington Artillery of New Orleans. Surrendered to General Canby on May 4, 1865.
William Frazer Tutt died in 1884 of Bright's Disease and is buried in Metairie Cemetery in New Orleans.
