This CDV shows a seated view of John Wilkes Booth resting his walking cane in his lap. On pre-printed card mount, the reverse reads: “J. Wilkes Booth, Murderer of Abraham Lincoln.”
Overall, this image is in good condition. There is surface dirt throughout. Some flaking of the mount appears on the reverse on the bottom left-hand corner. A modern collector’s pencil notation appears in the opposite corner. [cla][ph:L]
