The image is “from life” and features a sharp image with good contrast. The plain mount has been trimmed up to fit in an album or frame.

The reverse has printed advertising backmark in purple ink, “BRADY’S / NATIONAL PHOTOGRAPHIC PORTRAIT / GALLERIES….”
