This Carte-de-Visite features a seated view of General Warren against a plain backdrop. The image is in excellent condition, mounted to a typical card with gold line bordering along the edges of the front face. The corners of the card are complete with some very minor denting at the bottom left and right. The image itself is in excellent condition.
The reverse is clean and labeled “G. K. WARREN” in pencil. A stylized photographer’s back mark logo reads “Published by / E & H T ANTHONY, / 501 Broadway, / New York. / FROM / PHOTOGRAPHIC NEGATIVE / in / BRADY’S / National Portrait Gallery”. Very minor rolling is noted at the upper left corner. Overall measurements are 2.4” x 4”.
Surely an excellent addition to a well-rounded collection of fine Civil War photography. [cm] [ph:L]
