Carte de Visite photo of Abraham Lincoln recorded in 1863. This is a copy sold by an English photographer who copied the original and added a “tape” at the bottom with Lincoln’s name.
This 1863 image shows Lincoln seated at and side table. Image is on a plain, untrimmed mount. Photo is slightly soiled overall from much handling. Reverse has identification in period ink and Manchester, England photographer’s back mark.
Decent photograph of Lincoln. [jet] [ph:L]
