Seated studio view in uniform. He has on a shell jacket with piping. He holds a forage cap in his lap that clearly displays crossed cannon insignia and the regimental number 14. Unfortunately, there are five northern states that had a "14th" light artillery regiment. Clear image with very good detail and contrast. Plain mount with no photographer's backmark.
This cdv was part of the Ray Richie collection. [jet] [ph:L]
