Seated studio view of infantry officer in uniform. He has a single-breasted frock with shoulder straps. He holds his kepi in his lap. The kepi has a small infantry horn insignia on front with regimental number that is difficult to determine and a quatrefoil of three rows of braid. Clear image with very good detail and contrast. Photographer's backmark, J.W. Moulton, Salem.
