No back-mark.  Image depicts young soldier in standing studio pose, booted, wearing kepi, shell jacket, w/big buckled belt in which are tucked a small caliber pistol, likely an 1849 pocket Colt, and a sheathed dagger. Image is sharp, trimmed slightly along upper and lower margins. And chipped slightly in upper right corner. Else VG.
