CDV shows an image of a well-dressed young lady. She is wearing a solid colored silk dress with pleated trim at the sleeves and bottom of skirt. Her accessories include a belt with buckle, white undersleeves, white collar with colored neck bow, hairnet and earrings. She is posed with her hand resting on a high-backed chair. Backmark reads, “JAS. M. DOW PHOTGRAPHIST, OGDENSBURGH”.

Image is clear with good contrast. Shows yellowing due to age and light surface dirt. Tip of the top left corner of image is torn but mount is fine.    [sl]  [ph:L]
