Image shows three company grade officers posed in a New York City studio. The officer on the left leans against a table while the one in the middle stands cradling his M1850 Foot Officer’s sword in his left arm while the officer at right stands with his arms across his chest. All three wear dark frock coats with brush epaulettes and light trousers. All three also wear sashes and sword belts with rectangular plates with their swords and scabbards attached. The officer at left wears a high grade belt with decorative stitching. Laying on a table behind the officer at center is a light colored greatcoat.

Image has excellent clarity and contrast and is bright and clean.

Bottom edge of the mount is marked J. O’NEIL 949 B’WAY.
