CDV is of a bearded Confederate officer in a light-colored double-breasted frock coat. There is no rank visible on the collar.
Contrast and clarity are good. Mount is good while the paper has a faint water stain just below the subject.
Reverse has no photographer’s imprint. There is some collector information in pencil.
