CDV shows to rather young cadets approx. 12 to 14 years old posed one on either side of a podium.
The young fellow at left wears a dark military shell jacket and vest with light colored trousers bearing a dark leg stripe. He is rather jauntily posed leaning on the podium with one arm while the other is resting on his hip and holding his dark forage cap.
The fellow on the right also wears a dark military shell jacket with matching vest with a visible watchchain. He also wears light colored trousers with dark leg stripe. His dark forage cap is resting on the podium between him and his “pard.” This second boy also strikes a bit of a devil-may-care pose.
Contrast and clarity are excellent. Paper and mount are very nice though the bottom edge is slightly trimmed.
Reverse is blank but for a period pencil inscription that reads “HEN ADEL COMPLEMENTS WITH MASTER SCHELDON.” [ad][ph:L]
