This interesting image features two Post-Civil War US Sailors in “Sagong” China (likely the port of Shandong). The men stand in full view with some details suffering from lacking contrast.

The reverse is labeled in period ink “Taken in Sagong / China / in 1868”.  Light foxing is observed on the reverse face, but nothing to detract from presentation.

A neat piece of an uncommon variety for the Naval collector.   [cm] [ph:L]
