This is a great Carte de Viste (CDV) photograph featuring a large tent with seven sailors seated at the open flaps.

This is an outdoor photo with good clarity and just slightly light on contrast. The faces and bodies of the seven men are perfectly visible but items we’d love to see deep inside the tent are only outlines or shadows.

Three of the sailors wear Navy “flat hats” while the others have kepis with rain covers. Two of the men are wearing Navy jumpers; one has a visible rating badge on the sleeve.
