Dark brown thermoplastic case known as a “Union” case. Item meas. approx. 1.75 x 2.25 inches.

Exterior is excellent with sharp crisp edges free of chips with a raised decoration titled “THE MEDITATING MONK” which depicts a monk sleeping under a large oak tree with a small town in the distance.

Interior has a nice red felt pillow with embossed floral decoration. Photo recess has a label for LITTLEFIELD, PARSONS & CO with patent dates of 1856 and 1857.  [AD]  [ph:L]
