This unknown subject wears a light-colored kepi with a dark band around its base and a light colored shell jacket with high collar. The jacket has an eight button front with all the buttons being touched with gilt paint. The collar edge and base as well as the cloth epaulettes on the shoulders are outlined with dark piping and each cuff has a rectangle of dark material with three gold gilt buttons on each.
Contrast and clarity are good although there is some solarization around the edges and minor scattered scratches and dirt. None of these obscures the image in any way.
Item comes with a half leather case decorative brass mat and three quarters of the stamped brass frame. [ad] [ph:L]
