Crystal clear image of what is believed to be a husband and wife. The husband sits at left in a black suit and sporting chin whiskers. He wears a pearl tie-tack with a gold pin.
Seated next to him is a young woman with her hair arranged as usually seen in the 1850’s parted in the middle bunched on the side. Her dress is light-colored with a white collar and a gold brooch at her throat.
Image comes with a plain brass mat housed in a folding leather case that shows light wear. [ad] [ph:L]
