Image is of a dark haired dog with white on his chest and muzzle seated in a low-backed chair.
Because the image is a tin and the dog is dark haired the image looks a bit dark but the chair the dog sits on is light so overall the composition works.
Tin is in a CDV sized paper mount with a pressed rope border frame. Reverse has a paper label for an Ohio photographer. Label is worn; both the label and the tin have become separated from the mount. [ad] [ph:L]
